Order history that does not contain personal identification information may be retained for internal business purposes, where legally permitted or required.

Foodydoody Merchant Account and Data Deletion

Foodydoody Merchant is a business application intended for restaurants and authorised restaurant staff.

Merchant accounts use a different deletion process from customer accounts. Merchant users cannot delete the merchant account directly through the customer account deletion process.

To request deletion of a Foodydoody Merchant account and the personal data associated with it, please send an email to:

Please include sufficient information to identify the merchant account, such as:

• Restaurant or business name

• Registered email address

• Registered telephone number, where applicable

After verifying the request and resolving any open contractual, financial, accounting, or other necessary matters, the merchant account and personal information that is no longer required will be deleted.

• Name

• Email address

• Telephone number

• Merchant account information

• Personal user information associated with the merchant account

Certain information may be retained where necessary to comply with tax, accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or regulatory obligations. Such information will be retained only for the period required or permitted by applicable law.

If you want specific personal data deleted without requesting deletion of the entire Foodydoody Merchant account, please clearly state this in your email request.

 

Foodydoody Merchant App

The Foodydoody Merchant application is used by restaurants and authorised restaurant staff to receive and manage customer orders.

The App may process merchant account information, customer and order information, device information, push-notification identifiers, analytics information, crash information, and technical information necessary to operate the service.

Customer information accessed through the Merchant App is used only for legitimate purposes such as order processing, fulfilment, delivery, customer service, accounting, fraud prevention, security, and other lawful business purposes.

The Foodydoody Merchant App may use Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics for notifications, analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting.

The current Android version of the Foodydoody Merchant App does not require fine or approximate location permission for its normal merchant-order functionality.

Bluetooth-related permissions may be required when the App communicates with compatible restaurant hardware, such as supported printers. Bluetooth access is used for device and printing functionality and not for advertising purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our apps, websites, services, legal requirements, or data-processing practices change.
